For McCool Travel’s 109th travel interview, I am happy to present Eric Stoen of Travel Babbo. Eric Stoen takes absolutely drop dead gorgeous photographs. I met him at a travel conference last year and we were both part of the Yahoo Travel Explorers group (R.I.P.). His jetset family, as you will see, is fortunate to travel the world.
Eric Stoen’s bio: “I’ve lived in Italy, Norway, Germany, and the US and traveled to 80+ countries. I’m passionate about the benefits of family travel and let each of my three kids (6, 8, and 10) choose any destination in the world every year for a one-on-one trip with me. We also travel as a family during school breaks. Total, my kids have now been to 41 countries on all 7 continents. In 2012 I won Conde Nast Traveler’s Photo of the Year award.”

What a great opportunity to be with Eric Stoen. Good job.
Thank you. Great travel guy.
Never had the chance to take my kids as I was traveling for work when they were growing up. Now I take my grandkids, as long as they are at least 11 years old. I have taken 2 to Costa del Sol, Spain~
So cool. Love it.
Great interview. Eric’s children are very lucky. And I love the attitude of “Saying yes to virtually any unexpected opportunity.”
He and I are serendipitous travel kindred spirits. Not together, though.
Loved the interview. There’s such a positive spirit that seems to come out of his answers. What a wonderful thing to travel one on one with his children.
Thank you, Janice. Hope for the next generation. 😀
Thanks for sharing, going to check out Travel Babbo right now!
I think you will love his photos.
Oh great that Eric’s kids can get a cultural education like this!
Oh, my, so amazing. Right?
