After having visited Chichen Itza, we were taken to a hole-in-the-wall local place in Valladolid, Mexico called Oasis Familar. Order a large fresh-squeezed fruit smoothie, try out their appetizers, and dig into a half-portion platter of food. We couldn’t finish all of the food brought out, even with five people! I promise that you will leave incredibly stuffed. The best part? The total was $22 USD including tip for all of us.
recent discovery …

I’ve never been one for museums, but the National Civil Rights Museum in this city blew me away. It was, hands down, the best museum I have been to in the world, and so incredibly moving.
